Neiguan (Vipassana)

Deep, slow heat for the things that stiffen up in winter.

Gentle, contained heat applied over specific points. Used where things feel cold, stiff and slow to loosen — common in winter.

Dried mugwort is burned at a distance from the skin to warm specific points. Nothing touches you and nothing burns; the sensation is a deep, slow heat that lasts well after the session.

It suits joints that ache more in cold weather and tissue that simply will not warm up under hands alone.

What it helps with

  • Joint ache that worsens in cold weather
  • Lower back that never feels warm
  • Fatigue and heaviness through winter

Before you book

There is smoke and a distinct smell — tell us if you are asthmatic. Not used over numb skin or areas with reduced sensation.
